How To Find Paid Surveys Online

January 30th, 2008 · No Comments

People looking to find paid surveys online tend to just type paid surveys in to their search engine and join the first site they see listed but is this really the best way to go about it?

The fact is that this isn’t the best way to go. The search engine may bring up the best paid surveys sites to use but this is more by fluke than anything else. The reason for this is that it is fairly simple for a site to market its way to the number one spot on a search engine so although they are at the top it isn’t a sign that the site is legit.

How then do you find paid surveys online? Well ads are another no go, again they could be a great site that offers a legit opportunity but their is also a good chance of getting scammed this way too. In truth the only real way to be certain is to either find a good reliable review site or do some of your own research.

Whenever you click on a site check for a contact source and if you can test it. Usually this will be an email address so it is easy to test and if you get no reply then move on. Also check that the site has a privacy policy in place to keep your information safe.

You could also check forums for comments ( not always reliable though ) and checkout the companies details at whois.net such as how long they have been around, who owns the site and how long it is registered for.

Since you need to join a lot of survey companies to make it worthwhile then the best way to find paid surveys online is with the aid of a directory as doing it one by one would simply take far too long. The steps for finding a legitimate site are pretty much the same as when looking for individual companies.

In truth though I would recommend using a paid surveys review site rather than doing this yourself. A good review site will always have tested the site and done all the research for you. Be careful though as not all review sites are legitimate.

Some paid survey review sites are little more than a sales page so look out for sites that claim surveys can make you rich and have no content on their site bar apart from the review. Also look out for lines such as “90% of paid surveys are a scam” and “Of the thousands of survey sites I’ve tested there is only one I would recommend”.

Once you manage to find paid surveys online I have little doubt you will be grateful you did. Hopefully this article will help you get there safely and avoid the mine field that it can be.
