How To Farm Gold In World Of Warcraft - 14 Easy Ways To Gold In Wow

January 28th, 2008 · No Comments

There are many ways to farm gold in World of Warcraft. Here are some easy ways:

  1. Nestled in the small valley in the South middle edge of the Badlands Zone, you can farm normal rock elements. Grey loot is dropped at every kill, and you can get 50 silver to 1.5 WoW gold.
  2. Elemental Earth is also dropped (one in 17 times) and sells at the AH for 1-3 WoW gold a piece.
  3. Farm elemental slaves on the West side of the Alterac Mountains to get 1-3 WoW gold for a piece of the Elemental Earth dropped one in 15 times.
  4. Elemental Exiles on the South West Arathis Highlands will give Elemental Eaths, which will fetch 1-3 WoW gold.
  5. Farming will also get you gold: the Arathi Highlands will get you 30nps of 2-6 silver each on 3-5 minute spawn timers (times are not often camped). If you are AOE class you can get more than 1-5 WoW gold. As the Alliance, you can farm for 30-40nps of 2-6 silver each on 3-5 minute spawn timers, to get 1-5 WoW gold per hour.
  6. In the North West corner of the map, in Tristfall Glades, is the Secret Scarlet Monastery Graveyard – this can get you 2-6 silver kill.
  7. Farm the Scarlet Monastery Chests and locked chests for large knapsacks – 1.25-2 WoW gold each, and occasionally you might get a blue item instead of a knapsack (one in 11 locked chests). Look also in the graveyard library and armory – but not the Cathedral. You can easily get 8 locked chests and 10 regular per hour. Use a Rogue to pick the locks, or with a 150 blacksmith skill you can use Gold Skeleton Keys.
  8. Farm Warpwoods (North side of Felwood Zone near the alliance flight parth person) and Deadwoods (just South West of Warpwoods) for 2-10 silver rare herb drops (these will get you 1-5 WoW gold each). At the AH, Living Essence sells for 1-1.5 WoW gold.
  9. Farm the stockades in Stormwind City for easy greens and wool – every other kill is worth 3-5 pieces of wool. A stack of wool at the AH can fetch 77 silver to 2 WoW gold.
  10. West of the alliance/horde flight points is the twilight hammer elites in the Searging Gorge – you can make 10 WoW gold per hour off the coin drops (2-16 silver per kill), and 5-20 WoW gold per hour for the green and mageweave drops (3-5 mageweave cloth per drop).
  11. In the Western shore of Westfall, there is a small outpost of trappers who have a 35% drop rate for linen cloth.
  12. When you enter Azshara from Ashenvale, on the left side of the road you’ll see Shadowsong Shire. You’ll be able to farm the ghosts there for mageweave, green drops and random chests.
  13. The Southern part of Eastern Plaguelands will see plenty of Plaguebats, which you can farm for Evil Bat Eyes (up to 2 WoW gold per piece) – especially during the Darkmoon Faire.
  14. Also in the EPL, Carrion Grubs and Carrion Devourers have a high drop rate for Laval acid, which can fetch up to 7 WoW gold!

Hopefully, this will get you some World of Warcraft gold quickly, but even better – easily! Good luck and happy gold farming!
